Here are some houses built into the cliff on the east bank of the Júcar River. I walked across a bridge to get a closer look and found that it was one of these "casas rurales". A "casa rural" is a small country house - sort of like a bed and breakfast. These are becoming popular with city dwellers looking to spend weekends in the country to get away from the hustle and bustle.
