Taken on: Sometime in March, 2006
Place: Albacete
Another impressive looking building in Albacete is the Diputación Provincial. The autonomous regions of Spain, like Castilla-La Mancha, are divided up into provinces. Albacete is the capital of the eponymous province. The diputación is the provincial government. In other words, another layer of bureaucracy - another excuse to put people on the public payroll. One thing I believe they do is look after the provincial roads.
